New Twist on Lip Balms -EOS!

I cannot resist this delicious temptation! It looks like a French macaroon outside, but bursting with moisture inside! My new lip balm, EOS! Evolution of smooth just takes the lip balm routine to the next level... fun! Twist off the cap and you'll have this sphere-shape balm packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing Shea butter and jojoba oil. It keeps my lips moist for a long time this winter season.

EOS (http://evolutionofsmooth.com/products/lipbalm-sphere/) claims to be 95% organic, 100% natural, paraben, gluten free, and petrolatum free. So it is good for those who has allergic reactions to the said chemicals.

The price is a bit over the usual Chapstick and Carmex price range. I bought mine from Macy's which was at $3.99 + tax. However, I recently seen this product at Walmart selling for $2.99 + tax.

If you are used to the lip stick shape lip balm, you might have a problem with this. It is a lil bit uncomfortable to keep this in your pocket because of the ball shape of EOS. So I usually throw it inside my purse, and have to dig inside my bag when I need it.

It comes with 7 different flavors and cap colors!
• Summer Fruit -> (what I have) • Lemon Drop SPF 15 • Strawberry Sorbet • Honeysuckle Honeydew • Medicated Tangerine • Sweet Mint • Pomegranate Raspberry

So that's my review for now. Enjoy your EOS lip balm! And oh, for those of you who does not have it yet, try it! It's a fun way to moisturize your lips! But again, as a friendly reminder, still keep your Chapstick and Carmex for easy pull out for those days when winter dryness hits the most :)

Look -> hunkie Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl uses it too!!! I think he has the Sweet Vanilla Nonsense ^.^

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation 12hr Coverage

Hello ladies!

Skin Situation: Oily

I want to share my current foundation, Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation :) I purchased this at Sephora at our local mall. I just finished using MAC Studio Fix so I decided to go easy on my skin. Knowing that MAC is a heavy foundation (for my skin), I want to try something that is skin-friendly!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation has an SPF of 15, claims to have a 12hour staying power, and full coverage. Most importantly, the hype of the foundation from tarte.com, it is Powered By: Amazonian clay: This nutrient-rich, multitasking and total-skin-balancing clay reduces dryness and flakiness, improves skin clarity, elasticity, firmness, and texture while removing oil from the skin's surface for smooth application and wear.

So now, my review:
Texture - It is thick, not milky/liquidity texture. No problem for me because it doesn't dry fast as long as you blend it right away on your face

Color - my color here in tan-deep 12. It is not my color during summer. (I am MAC Studio Fix NC 42). But since it is winter season now, it looks better in color-match. So to be honest, it is hard to find the right color match since it does not have a lot of color range compared to MAC or Make Up Forever.

Price- I purchased it for $38 from Sephora since I was near that location that time. I know it can be a bit pricey, specially if you are still in H.S. or college (I remember those days...), but I can say, since I have already purchased MAC, not too bad if you want a high-end brand vs drug-store brand foundations.

And oh! I did not have any breakouts! yay!!!

For any question, please feel free to comment :) I will try my best to help or give advise. THANKS!
